5 Key Ingredients of an IMR Which Delivers a Strong Analysis

 Wednesday 17th May 2023, 1.00-2.30pm

Do you prepare reports for Local Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews, Safeguarding Adults Reviews and/or Domestic Homicide Reviews? If you do you will know that crafting a strong analysis is what the review needs most. But the challenge is to balance this with proportionality of approach. As a report author your time is precious and from the review's perspective, it is never useful to create unnecessary reading.

So, what can be left out?

In every review I undertake or have overseen I am asked questions like these:

👉 can I use a chronology?

👉 how do I frame my single agency recommendations?

👉 shall I include contextual information from my organisation?

👉 can we work from rapid review materials?

👉 how do I incorporate historical information outside of scope?

It's time we came together to answer all of these questions and more in one place.

I am offering an opportunity to explore the analysis rich IMR with Clare Edwards, retired Senior Nurse Safeguarding. For this FREE virtual training opportunity, we are offering 90 minutes of discussion, creative insights and plenty of opportunity for Q and A.

I am Donna Ohdedar, & I support review commissioners, participants, quality assurance professionals & reviewers to improve the quality of reviews. I want to share a live conversation I will be having with Clare where we will respond to questions from you, the live audience.

Afterwards we will send the recording to our editor to publish a summary as an episode of the Safeguarding & Domestic Abuse Sector podcast [click here for more details].

You can choose whether your question will be included in the podcast episode after the event.

Are you ready to learn & reflect with us? You know it will be inspiring & thought provoking. Our aim is to support the learning & improvement community to unlock positive changes in their next review.
