We hear it all the time. And especially after a high profile tragedy. ‘What’s the point in more reviews?’ ‘They just keep generating the same recommendations’
Now is the time for me to offer my most popular masterclass ever, updated & re-worked as version 2.0, with a brand new context for 2022.
We are impact driven professionals in the learning & improvement community. We would prefer to do something different if our reviews are not adding value.
I am the first to defend the strategy of repeat recommendations where they are necessary. Unravelling the knotty problem takes persistence. But at the same time, I want to introduce to you a concept that might take you in an entirely new direction with your recommendations.
Less about monitoring & compliance. More about building confidence & support for those who are addressing the most stubborn challenges in safeguarding or tackling domestic abuse. A lot changed in legislation and policy terms in 2021, it’s time to use it to the advantage of those who are eager to elicit implementable learning , which is directly linked to an action plan that creates lasting change.
There is always some low hanging fruit on the recommendations tree. There’s nothing wrong with creating some quick wins as well as the crafting those which tackle organisational leadership or require culture change.
I am Donna Ohdedar, & I support review commissioners, participants, quality assurance professionals & reviewers to improve the quality of reviews. I want to share the teaching from my most popular masterclass with all the upgrades needed for the context our learning and improvement activity works within in 2022.
