What happens after SILP School?
When you joined SILP School you had a goal to become an independent reviewer. Now that you are a member of Momentum this is the time to achieve that goal.
As part of our supportive framework within Momentum you have the opportunity to apply for review work with the knowledge that Review Consulting is here to support you at every step of the way.
Review opportunities are emailed to Momentum members on a weekly basis and know is the time to fully understand this process and how you can make the most of the support available to you.

Dudley MBC Community Safety Partnership are looking for a DHR Chair and Author.
Summary of the DHR:
This case involves the suicide of a woman. There were some mental health issues with a previous suicide attempt. She had 2 children, one of whom has a disability which added pressure to the relationship, she was living away from her ex partner and children at the time of her death, there is evidence of domestic abuse within the relationship.

All applications are based on your own evidence that you provide relating to the particular review you are applying for. Review commissioners will state what they require from you. Donna's CV and published reviews are also sent with your application as she will be your background mentor.
All reviewers have an option to be mentored by Donna directly. For first time reviewers we have a specific mentoring package that covers all key stages of a review.
If you are a more experienced reviewer but would like some support it is possible to request an SOS call with Donna.
For any smaller questions we can provide you with guidance.
All members of Momentum have access to the key videos and documents from SILP School to enable you to carry out a review.
We have made this easy for you by splitting the content into key parts of the review.
You also have access to review templates such as letters and powerpoint presentations for each stage of your review.
All reviewers have to start somewhere and it is important to remember that commissioners are not just looking at your review experience. They are considering your wider work experience in the sector. It is important to think creatively when approaching review applications to be able to best represent the experience you do have.
As an agency Review Consulting will liase with the commissioner directly on your behalf and resolve all payment claims.
Within the Momentum membership portal you have access to two pre recorded workshop relating to writing strong review applications.
