Ealing Safeguarding Children Partnership are seeking an independent reviewer to undertake a Local Child Safeguarding Practice Review (LCSPR), as per Working Together (2023) statutory guidance.
The reviewer will have a background in children’s social care, health, police or education with previous experience of conducting multi-agency learning reviews, such as LCSPRs and must be available to conduct the review from October 2025.
The reviewer will have expertise in working with initial assessment of, and response to, risk; sexualised behaviour in children; and sexual harm.
It would be desirable for the reviewer to have experience of working with issues of neurodiversity; race; and ‘honour’ based behaviours.
The reviewer will be required to undertake an initial review of records and information related to the review. They will be responsible for producing the final report, with recommendations for learning; facilitating discussions with agencies and practitioners; and ensuring the review meets its objectives as set out in the terms of reference.
