Two DHR's for the Keeping Bristol Safe Partnership

Keeping Bristol Safe Partnership
is seeking to commission two independent reviewers for two DHRs.

Summary of Case 1:

The case involves a woman whose death appears to have resulted from violence from a family member that lived in the same household. The cause of death remains undetermined, and the investigation is ongoing. The Keeping Bristol Safe Partnership would like the review author to have a mental health background and/or have undertaken previous DHRs where mental health was a significant area for consideration.

Summary of Case 2:

The case involves the suicide of a man whilst on remand in prison. In the year before his death, the relationship between the male and his female partner appears to have deteriorated considerably resulting in the police being called on several occasions and both being arrested. It has been recognised that both parties perpetrated abuse against the other, therefore the partnership would like the review to look at situational couple violence within the terms of reference.

New reviewers begin their independent review journey every day. Draw on the relevant experience you have from your background, the soft skills you can bring to this review & the vision you have for the review in question. A well crafted application with reference to the circumstances of the particular review is more relevant and desirable than a standard application designed for any review which references a bank of review experience.

Review Consulting is responsible for this work. You will receive an opening letter at the start of the review explaining what we need from you & when. For invoice queries please contact [email protected]
