Accredited SILP™ Reviewers who join Momentum receive opportunities to apply through Review Consulting to undertake SILP reviews.

It is useful to browse the reviews on offer at the same time as undertaking your studies in SILP School. Even if you have not yet graduated or signed up with us, please do take a look. This will improve your understanding & your potential fit for new work that may arise in future

Two DHR's for the Leicestershire and Rutland Safeguarding Adults Board and Safeguarding Children Partnership


The Leicestershire and Rutland Safeguarding Adults Board and Safeguarding Childrens Partnership are
 commissioning reviewers for two DHR's. 


DHR NM:

In June 2023 Leicestershire police attended a report of a women found badly injured at her home address by her mother and brother . Tragically the victim was found badly injured inside her flat, and death was pronounced at the scene. She had been subject to apparent beatings,  and ligatures , before being concealed inside an Ottoman style bed.

 

Police traced and arrested a male whom the victim had been in a short tern relationship with . He was subsequently arrested and charged with murder .  He was found guilty of Murder on 13th February 2024 and sentenced to 34 years in custody.

 

DHR CBa:

In March 2024 Leicestershire police attended a report of a women suffering from stab wounds , at the request of East Midlands Ambulance Service - subsequent enquires established that the victim’s son had chased her onto the driveway of her address and then the street and had stabbed her several times . Tragically the victim did not survive .

 

The male in question was arrested at the scene and charged with murder.

Draw on the relevant experience you have from your background, the soft skills you can bring to this review & the vision you have for the review in question. A well crafted application with reference to the circumstances of the particular review is more relevant and desirable than a standard application designed for any review which references a bank of review experience.
