Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster Safeguarding Children Partnership seeks to commission an independent reviewer for a Local Child Safeguarding Practice Review
Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster Safeguarding Children Partnership wants to commission an Independent Reviewer to undertake a Local Child Safeguarding Practice Review (LCSPR) following the very sad death of a looked after child.
The partnership hopes to recruit an independent reviewer from a global majority background in order to better support the family.
Themes of the review will be:
- exploring race, ethnicity and culture of the child
- exploring the high levels of vulnerability the child experienced from an early age
- an exploration of multiple kinship and family care arrangements and their long-term stability (and what additional support the extended family feel they may have benefited from at the time)
- and the role and impact of education (or lack of)

Draw on the relevant experience you have from your background, the soft skills you can bring to this review & the vision you have for the review in question. A well crafted application with reference to the circumstances of the particular review is more relevant and desirable than a standard application designed for any review which references a bank of review experience.
