South Tyneside Council seeks a reviewer for a Domestic Abuse Related Death Review. While the Coroner’s Inquest is yet to take place, at this stage, it would appear that the deceased is likely to have taken their own life. Although there was only one documented incident of Domestic Abuse between the deceased and their ex-partner, their death occurred very soon after disclosing 6 years of abusive and coercive behaviour by their ex-partner.

What if I lack experience?

New reviewers begin their independent review journey every day. Draw on the relevant experience you have from your background, the soft skills you can bring to this review & the vision you have for the review in question. A well crafted application with reference to the circumstances of the particular review is more relevant and desirable than a standard application designed for any review which references a bank of review experience.

Who deals with contracts, commissioning, invoices, complaints etc?
